THEMBA is a South African producer and DJ who spotlights local singers and instrumentalists in his tech-house tracks. Known as Euphonik during the ’00s, his first introduction to house music came from Kwaito, a local genre where rap verses are laid over slowed-down house beats. Since his 2018 debut, he has appeared on lineups with Faithless, Skrillex and Black Coffee.
